Eligibility & accounts
You are responsible for the accuracy of your registration details and for keeping your account secure. You agree to use the platform for lawful, personal, educational purposes.
Acceptable use
- Do not misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform or its data.
- Do not scrape, resell, or redistribute course content without permission.
- Do not submit unlawful, harmful, or infringing content through the Intelligent Tutor or any form.
The Intelligent Tutor and content
Course content is drafted with AI assistance and validated by a qualified scholar before it is taught. The Intelligent Tutor answers from validated course material and may escalate sensitive matters for review. Nonetheless, the platform is for learning and general guidance only and is not a substitute for professional, legal, financial, medical, or definitive Shariah advice. See our Disclaimer.
Credentials
Micro-credentials recognise the learning you complete on the platform. They are not academic degrees, diplomas, or professional licences, and Islamic.University is not a degree-granting institution.
Intellectual property
Course materials and platform content are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by applicable law. Photography is by Mohammed Alim, used under the Unsplash License. You receive a personal, non-transferable right to access the content for your own learning.
Free service
The platform is offered free of charge, supported by a dedicated charitable endowment (waqf). We may change or discontinue features over time.
No warranty & limitation of liability
The platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the platform.
Changes & governing law
