This Privacy Policy explains what information Islamic.University (operated by PT IBF Net Indonesia, “we”, “us”) collects when you use the platform, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We aim to collect as little as possible and never to sell your data.
Information we collect
- Account details you provide when you register: your name, email address and role.
- Learning data generated as you study: your chosen level, diagnostic and quiz results, lessons completed, progress, performance records and the questions you ask the Intelligent Tutor.
- Cookieless usage analytics: the pages viewed on the public site. We do not store your IP address; instead a salted, daily-rotating hash is used to estimate unique visitors. See our Cookies & Tracking notice.
How we use it
- To provide the courses, the Intelligent Tutor, the diagnostic and your personalised learning path.
- To create and verify your micro-credentials and your private performance records.
- To understand and improve the platform in aggregate (for example, average learning gain as a measure of impact). Your individual learning gain is private to you and is never shown publicly.
How it is stored and shared
Data is stored using our infrastructure providers (including Supabase for the database and Vercel for hosting and privacy-friendly analytics). We share data with these providers only to operate the service. We do not sell personal data or use it for third-party advertising.
Your choices and rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at policy@islamic.university. You can also stop using the platform at any time. Where required by law, additional rights may apply.
Younger learners
The platform is designed to be understandable by learners of secondary-school age. If you are a minor, please use the platform with the involvement of a parent, guardian or teacher. Contact us if you believe a minor has provided personal data that should be removed.
Retention & security
We keep personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations, and we apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.
