A Knowledge Waqf
Islamic.University is endowed as a waqf: free, for life, for everyone. It is built not for profit but by people who give their skill as a sadaqah. Those who help are honoured as Fellows of Islamic.University, credited by name on the work they create. There are two ways to serve.
Carry a course into the language of your people. Knowledge belongs to a people only when it lives in their own tongue. You do not translate from scratch: a machine prepares the first draft, and you are the human authority who perfects it, getting the Shariah and finance terms exactly right and making the knowledge feel as though it were written for the reader in Tashkent, Lahore or Kano. You work at your own pace, module by module, with a suggested schedule to guide you and full freedom to set your own.
You gain: your name on the courses you open, a Heritage Fellow certificate, and, for students, real referenceable experience.
Shape the courses that do not yet exist. Experienced scholars, professors and practitioners propose, design or review content in their field, from Islamic medical ethics and public health to law and the sciences of the modern economy, always under scholar validation. If you have spent a career mastering a field, here is a way to give it to a generation, freely and forever.
You gain: authorship credit, recognition as a Scholar Fellow, and a lasting contribution to a field you have given your life to.
Your contribution is a sadaqah, honoured openly. It is not a paid or accredited engagement, it is something better: a share in a sadaqah jariyah, with your name upon it.
To become a Fellow, first register or sign in, it takes a moment and is free, then tell us how you would like to help.
