Islamic.University is committed to making learning accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we work to improve the platform over time.
What we aim for
We aim to align with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA as a practical target, and to build the platform so that it is usable by as many people as possible.
Features that support access
- Semantic, keyboard-navigable pages and meaningful text alternatives for images.
- Readable typography, sufficient colour contrast, and a responsive layout that works on phones, tablets, and desktops.
- Three learning levels (Basic, Intermediate, Advanced) and an always-available Intelligent Tutor, so learners can study at the depth and pace that suit them.
Known limitations
Some content — for example certain media, diagrams, or third-party components — may not yet be fully accessible. We are working to address gaps as we find them.
Feedback & help
If you encounter an accessibility barrier, or need material in a different format, please contact us at policy@islamic.university. Tell us the page and the difficulty, and we will do our best to help and to fix it.
